"Fab location just opposite the cathedral, great to hear the peregrines and the bells. The apartment is well equipped, including washing machine, iron, and dishwasher. Easy walking distance to everything you need, including excellent restaurants. About 15 min walk to train station. Despite central location, it’s quite peaceful (the bells stop from 8pm!). Bayeux is a lovely place to stay and everyone is very friendly."

"Travelling from Australia . We had a car to travel around this area. This apartment was the most beautifully appointed apartment in a stunning setting right beside the cathedral, shops,restaurants and walking distance to the markets and local attractions. The owner Jerome was helpful when we arrived. Showed us around apartment and explained the parking etc in the area. Street parking with a disc you can buy at local tourist shop next door for 2.50 pounds. If you dont find a park outside there are several free parking spots within walking distance. The kitchen was well equipped, so we cooked some meals there. It was great to have a washing machine after travelling a couple of weeks. Short walk to beautiful bakery and butcher. Our favourite restaurant few doors down called Le Petit Restro and tea rooms next door was special. Would highly recommend this area for day trips to d day beaches, cemeteries and all museums."

"Spacious apartment with so much character in a fantastic location. Listening to the bells of the cathedral (just opposite) added to the appeal of the apartment. We were able to walk to the supermarket, restaurants, main attractions, train station and pick up point for tours. The apartment was very well appointed with more than what we needed. Our host was helpful and he also provided us with a welcome pack of pasta, apple juice and biscuits as well as the usual tea and coffee etc. We would absolutely recommend this apartment."

"Spotlessly clean, excellent kitchen facilities and perfect location! Beautiful exposed timber beams in this attic apartment. The central location within metres of the magnificent Bayeux cathedral was a highlight for my sister and myself. An easy walk of about 15 minutes with (light) luggage from the railway station. As siblings, we used both beds. Highly recommended."

"The location was fabulous, as long as you didn't mind the cathedral bells. You could walk about the town, no car necessary, lots of restaurants and shops in the area and a short walk to the Normandy museum. We also liked that we had the option to cook or keep small amounts of food in the apartment. Jerome was a great host, gave clear instructions on how to get into the unit and very responsive to any questions we had."

"Can you install a mirror close to a power outlet so when the ladies dry their hair they can see what their doing please. I managed fur a few days but it is the ONLY thing that was an issue. Otherwise Cathedral Charmant is perfect."
